Mahesh becomes a ‘Mr. Perfect’

Mahesh Babu who has vanished from the silver screen from the past two years is all set to return with three movies in 2010. The first one happens to be untilled movie of his, which is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The movie has Telugu mirchi Anushka in lead.
The second one happens to be ‘Mr. Perfect’ which is being directed by KICK fame director Surrender reddy. The movie is said to have a typical subject with a comic touch. RR.-Movie maker’s is producing this movie and is likely to go on floors soon. The movie will be a dasara bonanza to Mahesh Babu Fans in 2010. Made on the budget of Rs 40 cr, the movie is said to feature a Bollywood beauty as female lead.
The third movie which is still on cards is said to be directed by Aditya Thotta. The movie will feature Mahesh as a terrorist and will be in the lines of a Bollywood movie.
So, Mahesh Fans, Ika Pandaga chesukondi next year.
Tollywood faces distributor’s scarcity

Tollywood which is considered as the second big film industry in Indian after Bollywood is facing distributor’s scarcity these days. The reason for it is said to be the lack of potential in the films.
As many as 25 films are hitting the silver screen almost every month. Out of them only 1 or 2 are picking up the average tag. The rest are being dumped into some scrap or are being sold to television channels at a very low rate. There is news that even big banner movies are facing the distributors scarcity these days and so many producers are coming forward to distribute their own films which is said to be a daring step. Actors like Balakrishna, Gopichand, Nitin, Prabhas, and Dr. Rajshekar have given stupendous flops this year, inspite of their star status with a rich background this has made many big distributors re-think on buying their films.
But fresh water always flows into the river and this proverb is said to be true in Telugu cinema industry. Many news distributors are sprouting up who are either real estates tycoons or the ones who have become rich by selling their agricultural lands. Adding to this are companies like Reliance, UTV, Sun Network and so on which are coming up with their distribution hand. These companies are said to be investing high amounts n tollywood and when the movies do not run much, they dub the Telugu movies in Hindi and air them in their respective Hindi channels. Nowadays, Zee Cinema, Star gold, Sony max, UTV movies, B4U movies and so on are airing these movies in repeat telecast basis in order to gain backs their investments at any cost.
Well coming to the Telugu cinema senior distributors, they are happy keeping a distance from the movies and are playing safe by becoming spectators rather than jumping into the murky business of distributing the Telugu movies. All movies are not said to be bad, but the hit factor is missing in major of them and only 4% of movies are getting hitting or audience’s satisfaction from the 100% movies which are released this year.
Hope, the makers focus on sensible movies and the actors focus on some meaningful, in –depth scripts in order to make the Telugu cinema audiences delighted next year.
Shriya Saran all set to open a restaurant in Hyderabad

Shriya Saran is all set to become a businesswoman soon as she is planning to open a restaurant in Hyderabad early next year. Already the actress has made a deal with an owner of a restaurant located in Jubilee hills and has paid him an initial amount in the deal.
The restaurant will be renovated in a couple of months of time and Shriya will start the business from February likely. According to sources, this deal was recommended to her by actor Nagarjuna who is said to be a wise man in the business field. He used to own a pub and a restaurant and has now expanded his business into north India.
The owner of the restaurant happens to be a social celebrity and is a friend of Nagarjuna. So, when Shriya asked for an advice to secure her future, Nagarjuna recommended her to venture in restaurant business and also backed her up in the latest business deal.

Junior NTR refuses political campaign plea from CBN

Junior NTR whose latest upcoming movie ‘ADURS’ has been renamed as ‘Naa Putrudu’ has refused to campaign for the Telugu Desam party in the upcoming GHMC polls. All the political parties are taking the GHMC polls as a prestige and are buys in finding out ways to lure the voters.
It is a fact that nowadays, the populace of the sub continent has turned clever and it is very hard to fetch a vote in any kind of elections at national or at a state level. Chandra Babu Naidu, the Telugu Desam party head, has requested Junior NTR to campaign for his party at the GHMC polls which are going to be held in November.
But the young star has politely refused CBN with a professional excuse. It is gossiped that JUNIOR NTR was terribly depressed when the TDP party lost in the general elections. On that day, he has stanched not to participate in any kind of election campaign in future. For this reason, the young star has taken an excuse from CBN and told him that he is a busy in his film acting profession and may not actively participate in the elections this time.
But politics can change anyone’s mind in any second and this is a fact practically.
Hansika’s ‘Lankalo Kalyanam’ will be in December

Hansika Motwani who refused to act with Allu Arjun in one of his upcoming project is all set for Lankalo Kalyanam. She is pairing with 13 flops actor Nitin in the film “Sita Ramulakalyanam…Lankalo” and will be portrayed in a girl next door image. The movie’s first shot was started by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Late Rajshekar Reddy. Now, the movie is almost complete and is being directed by Eeshwar. The title of the movie seems to be interesting. According to the director the movie has its justification to its title. In Ramayana, Lord Rama weds sita in Ayodhya. But in the movie “Sri Sitaramula Kalayanam …lankalo” the hero Ram weds his love in Lanka. Dr. Vijaya Prasad malla is producing this movie and music director Anoop Rubens is composing the music for this film. The audio will be released on November 18th and the movie is said to be releasing in December first week. Except for in songs, Hansika Motwani is said to be seen covered from top to bottom in this movie. Let’s hope that this movie will bring some life to actor Nitin’s film acting career.
Magadheera 10% overall collections to be donated for flood relief

‘Magadheera’ the movie which has re-written all the tollywood records by collecting 77 Crores in just 73 days is said to make a daring step ahead. Already it is a fact that all the collections obtained on October 25th, 2009, will be donated for the Andhra Pradesh flood relief fund and this has been officially announced by producer Allu Arvind.
Now, further lending hid hand to the Andhra Pradesh flood relief fund, Allu Arvind has also announced that 10% of the total collections obtained from “Magadheera” 100 days mileage will be donated to the flood relief fund.
This is going to be a surprise to the Telugu cinema industry and the media and a formal announcement will be made on the 100 days function of “Magadheera” by Allu Arvind. Last week on the occasion of diwali, Mr. Arvind has made this decision and also disclosed this to his family and Chiranjeevi. Megastar has appreciated this movie of him and asked him to keep it as a secret and to reveal it on the 100 days function.
But close sources to Allu Arvind has revealed this news and this is said to be a daring act taken up by any cinema industry producer till date.
Allu Arvind, no matter for what sake you are doing this deed, but it is for a good cause and you will attain same success in your future projects by god’s grace.
Power star becomes father wants 3 kids in a row

Pawan Kalyan is all set to become a father of second child in a few months time. It is a fact that his wife Renu is pregnant and is said to give birth to a child in a few months time. Presently, Pawan Kalyan is living in Pune with his wife Renu and is said to fly out to South Africa to take part in a shooting schedule. His upcoming movie “Komuram Puli” is all set to get released on December and the director SJ Surya of ‘KUSHI’ fame is said to take all precautions in order to make the movie a grand success.

Bhuvaneshewari who recently attained bail for being caught in a prostitution case has revealed some interesting facts about the south Indian film industry to the Chennai police. It is reported that she has disclosed some of the names of some high profile people who were backing her prostitution wing from the past 7 years.
The names include some high profile actors and politicians from the south Indian film industry and 2 central ministers. The character artists turned actress has revealed that she charges around a package of Rs 5,000 to Rs 2 lacs and arranges for models, actresses and even high profile working women into the flesh trade.
Last week some of the names of the actresses and high profile woman were revealed by Bhuvaneshwari which were with held by the Chennai police till Saturday. On Saturday an unofficial disclosure of names took place and actress Raasi’s name was said to top the list.
Raasi who acted with a actors like jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Balakrishna was said to be one of the name in the list which also includes names such as Anju, nalini, shakeela, Sri Priya, Ramyashree, Navneet Kaur, Poonam Kaur, Mrudula, Neela, Shehnaz and others. Venkatesh to don the role of ‘Vivekananda’.

Victory Venkatesh is well known for his inclination towards spirituality and is soon going to don the role of ‘Vivekananda’ in his next project. Venky has signed three projects this year and his fans are expected to get a movie treat next year as three movies of him will be releasing with the gap of a couple of months in between them.
Venkatesh’s first project is being directed by Srinu Vaitla and has actress Trisha in the lead. The movie is said to be a mass entertainer and will be a comedy subject. The next movie of Venky will be ‘Ganga’ which is being directed by choreographer turned director Amma Rajshekar. The movie will be on floors from October 20 and the entire first schedule is said to be shot in a 3 crores worth set which is laid near Chilkur Balaji Temple. Actress Ileana is acting in this movie as female lead.
Venkatesh’s third movie project is ‘Vivekananda’ which will be directed by Darsakendra Raghavendra Rao. The director is looking to make the movie with devotional element at its peak. The movie is said to highlight the whole life history of Swamy Vivekananda and will have a message to the mankind.
